Introduction into 3D printing

The program is primarily suitable for students who have never heard of 3D printing or have only had marginal contact with it. The main goal of this course is to introduce students to 3D printing, with an emphasis on the hands-on portion, to introduce them to the basics of modeling, and to familiarize them with the 3D printer.
Students will gain practical and theoretical knowledge about printing and its possible applications. At the same time, the course also includes the possibility of modeling and subsequent 3D printing. Students will learn how to operate and maintain the 3D printer, insert the filament, and solve any problems. - Level: beginners

Advanced 3D printing

This course assumes students have a basic knowledge and experience with 3D printing and modeling. It is designed to take skills to the next level.
The course covers the use of special materials for 3D printing and their proper selection, the pitfalls of 3D printing, a more detailed look at slicing to manage to print more efficiently and optimizing models for effective and efficient 3D printing.

Parametric modeling
- The parametric modeling course aims to introduce you to modeling software, a theoretical and practical introduction to the world of modeling. Students will learn how to efficiently design 3D models using parameters and constraints to save time in subsequent design modifications. They will gain the skill to turn concepts into tangible creations, including prototypes and functional components.

Microcontrollers

This course focuses on the application and programming of microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators. Students will gain hands-on experience with the BBC Micro: bit for sensing and controlling the light around us and the opportunity for other real-world applications of microcontrollers.

Laser Cutting

During the laser cutting course, students will be introduced to the operation of a laser and its practical applications. The course covers computer-controlled machining, setting machine parameters, and performing cuts and engravings for practical applications.

Any of these courses are easy to modify to meet your curriculum and your student's needs. It is possible to extend the length of the program or combine courses together. It is also possible to add a demonstration of any of our other technologies offered (e.g. 3D scanner, laser, vinyl cutter) to each course. If you wish, it is not a problem to bring them with you and combine them into the selected course.

Equipment
Excursions with the mobile FabLab
If you are interested in all our technologies and would like to show them to your students in one place. Then we offer the possibility of a field trip with our mobile FabLab. This is a van containing 3D printers, a 3D scanner, a mini CNC, a cutting laser, and other technologies.
Staff training
Does your school own any of the above technologies? We offer training to familiarize your staff with these technologies so that you can continue to use them for teaching or other school activities.
