11. 11. | Maker Faire Olomouc
Our Mobile FabLab will join the Maker Faire in Olomouc showcasing a mobile version of our creative technologies. Come and join the maker community and learn about other creative hubs around Czechia!

23. – 26. 11. | VULCA Seminar
In order to deliver to you the best programs possible, we are connected with a global community. We are headed to Slovenia and partaking in the VULCA Seminar 2023 where all European makers gather and discuss the most important topics and how to better collaborate.

We are super-excited to introduce you to the Maker Institute’s agenda for November 2023 including this delicious 3D Printing Food workshop we prepared for the beginning of December!
All these workshops will guide you through the process of problem solving with digital fabrication machines (Maker Technology) and why that is important. The list goes on so let’s cut to the chase.

Laser Cutting workshop | Morning session
Vector Graphics workshop | Afternoon session
When: November 6th
Morning session 11:00 – 13:00
Afternoon session 14:00 – 17:00

Capacity: 15 per session

Master Precision Machining: Enroll in courses that dive into computer-controlled machining. Learn how to design for CNC machines, set up machine parameters, and execute precise cuts and engravings for practical applications.


3D Printing basics (FDM & SLA) | Morning session
Introduction into Parametric 3D Modelling (TinkerCAD) | Afternoon session

Where: FA ČVUT “Akvárium” 152/153
Capacity: 30 per session

Working on your models and prototypes will be available between the sessions.
You can stop by during the day to see our pop-up set up dedicated to 3D Printing and Modelling Technologies and we will be able to advice you on your projects.

Machine-to-machine Communication
When:
November 15th | 16:00 – 18:00
November 29th | 16:00 – 18:00

Join us to learn what machine-to-machine communication is and how to make our own communication network using the MQTT protocol. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about programming and applied applications that can be tailored to a wide variety of processes and fields, from automation to creative applications, merging the physical and digital realms.
