Leyla Yunis

As a Director of Maker Institute I am excited to work on solutions in the field of education, digital fabrication, and sustainability. I see myself as a Computational Designer, Architect, and Digital Fabricator. I would love to empower creators from architects to citizens to think about sustainability through a lens of digital fabrication and nature inspired designs.

At the Maker Institute we want to promote both high-tech and low-tech mindsets and find ways in which they can merge. My interest in user generated ideas and circular economy principles, will bring plenty of opportunities to discover how technologies and creativity can aid us find innovative solutions for the climate, environment and resilient futures. I wish everyone can get a taste of this experience and we at the Maker Institute wish to make these experiences for everyone as enriching as possible!
